About Us
Crossroads Trails is a partnership between Thrive West Central and local organizations with an interest in trail development across West Central Indiana. In fall 2020, Thrive invited members of local trail organizations to form the inaugural “West Central Indiana Regional Trails Council”, which later selected the name Crossroads Trails to reflect the region’s identity as a critical juncture for multiple forms of transportation. Crossroads Trails is working to create an integrated, comprehensive network of trails and outdoor amenities in West Central Indiana. The release of the Crossroads Trails app served as the first step in this important initiative, and staff and members are making plans for future efforts in branding, wayfinding, and securing funding to promote additional trail development.
